In June 2023, ANFP implemented a new vision and mission along with a new strategic plan that includes Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) as part of the organization’s current and future initiatives. 

ANFP’s DEI initiative is to create a welcoming environment for all members, corporate and industry partners, and those pursuing a career in foodservice. Part of this initiative also includes educating our members, raising awareness, and providing tools, resources, practices, and policies members can apply to create their own welcoming environment within their everyday work setting.

The holidays, monthly celebrations and observances acknowledged by ANFP are meant to be inclusive of ANFP’s membership and industry partners and may change from year to year. Celebrating Diverse & Inclusive Holidays

The purpose of the mini toolkits is to encourage members and industry partners to participate in celebrations and month-long observances as part of ANFP’s diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.  Each of these mini toolkits can be used to raise awareness, celebrate, take action, and educate your staff, colleagues, or chapter members on a particular holiday or monthly celebration.
