Hello Program Directors:

The holidays are upon us, but I wanted to provide some updates to all of you before the break.

In case some of you missed the last Dialogue, I am the new Director of Education. I have been in this role for three months. I hope I can connect with many of you in the new year!

Textbooks
A reminder that beginning January 1^st, 2017 there is no discount on textbooks by using the school code. However, students can receive member pricing on textbooks with an

ANFP Pre-Professional Membership. This link provides the many benefits individuals receive by being a member.

ANFP is currently in our half year dues period, so if students join now through March, the cost of the Pre-Professional Membership is only $37.

Please refer students to the Student page on the website to purchase textbooks and learn more about membership. All information regarding school codes will be updated on our website by January 1st.

Exam Stats
All exam stats were sent out to you in early December. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to myself or Jenny Smith-Rios.

Reminders
Graduate/Enrollee Lists
A reminder to send in your graduate and enrollee lists in a timely manner. These lists help us to distribute student newsletters and communications throughout their training experience and as they become eligible to sit for the exam. It also helps us provide you accurate statistical data.

Staffing Updates

If there are staffing changes throughout the year, our requirements state that you must notify us within two weeks of the change by providing updated forms 1.1, 1.2A or 1.2B. This includes faculty changes with contact information, resumes and CDR cards. If you need to update these forms, they can be found on the Instructor Resource Center page. If you need assistance accessing this page, contact Jenny Smith-Rios.

Certifying Board for Dietary Manager Top 10 Lists

The Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM) has created a Top 10 series to help keep CDMs up-to-date. This is a quick and easy reference on hot topics. These include the update on the CMS regulations, Survey Readiness and FDA Food Code.
