ANFP Names New CEO

The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) is pleased to announce that Joyce Gilbert, PhD, RD, LDN has been named its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Gilbert will join the ANFP staff in May 2013, when William St. John, CAE -- who has served as Chief Executive for the Association since 1986 -- retires on May 31.

Honor Someone Who Has Made a Difference! Nominations Open for ANFP’s Legacy Award
Do you know a CDM, CFPP who has made a significant and ongoing contribution to the ANFP, their workplace, and/or their community? If so, nominate them for ANFP’s Legacy Award, developed in honor of ANFP’s 50th anniversary in 2010. Award selection criteria includes certification, ANFP involvement, workplace leadership, promotion of credential, and inspiring attitude. Nominations are due June 1, 2013. The award recipient will be recognized at ANFP’s National Leadership Conference Annual Business Meeting & Leadership Recognition Luncheon on Monday, July 29, 2013 in Savannah, GA.
