Dear Program Directors,

Here are some updates that you should keep in mind!

Quarterly Program Director Video Call

We had our second program director video call on February 12, 2024. Our topic was Alternatives in Nutrition Field Experience. Our next quarterly call will be in May 2024. Be on the lookout for a survey poll to determine the date, time, and topic.

Video Call Outcomes

As mentioned above, our Program Director video call in February was another success! The outcomes of the meeting included:

  • Review of three options for the 25 hours of precepted nutrition field experience: 
    • Precepted college laboratory setting
    • Precepted simulated field experience
    • Precepted authentic field experience
  • Distribution of nutrition field experience document to all program directors with details

Exam Statistics

You may recall that the exam statistics you received in December may not have looked correct. ANFP has been working with PSI (our examination services provider) to correct the problem. They assure us that this is an ongoing concern with a pending resolution. ANFP will notify program directors when this data correction is resolved and will send updated statistics.
