ANFP Dialogue - News & Notes for ANFP Training Program Faculty

Dear Program Directors,

I hope everyone is enjoying a great start to the fall semester. We have some updates and reminders from ANFP to share. As always, do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Electronic Textbooks are coming soon!

We are excited to offer an e-textbook option for the Foodservice Management – By Design 3rd edition and the Nutrition Fundamentals and Medical Nutrition Therapy 3rd edition. The e-textbooks will be available for purchase in the ANFP Marketplace within the next few weeks. I will let everyone know once they are available. The e-textbook version will include the supplemental and allow users to link directly to these pages with a click on the supplemental graphics within the text. The e-textbook will link to all web pages and allow for highlighting and note taking on each page.

Annual Report & Staffing Updates

Thank you for completing the annual report and staffing updates. I will summarize the data from the report and share it with you in the next Dialogue.

Covid Field Experience Policy update

The ANFP Board of Directors has approved an extension to the current COVID Field Experience Policy through May, 31, 2023. The Field Experience Task Force will reconvene this fall to review the data provided on the usage of simulated hours from the annual report and provide permanent recommendations to the Board for the future of our approved program field experiences.

Annual Maintenance Invoices

Annual maintenance invoices will be sent out in early October. As a reminder, ANFP no longer accepts checks as a form of payment. Payment can either be completed by credit card or ACH. The billing contact you indicated on the staffing update will be given access to the online payment system. This video will walk you through the process of our online payment system. I would be happy to assist by taking credit card payments over the phone. You can have your billing contact reach out to me directly.
