ANFP Kicked off the Month of October with Volunteer Appreciation Week

St. Charles, IL – The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) celebrated Volunteer Appreciation Week September 30 - October 4, 2024.
Earlier this month FDA released the Supplement to the 2013 Food Code. The supplement is intended to keep the 2013 Food Code up-to-date and was effective upon issuance
The Nutrition & Foodservice Education Foundation is pleased to provide a dues grant for those members experiencing financial difficulties that prevent them from paying their annual dues.
Apply for the 2015 Dues grant NOW through August 23rd.
The Grants & Awards committee is currently in the process of reviewing the applicants who have applied for the 2015 Dues grant. Those members who are among the chosen will be receiving a personal phone call from a member of this committee on or around September 8, 2015! Best of luck to all who applied!
National Hunger Week takes place April 11-15, 2016. During the awareness week, members of ANFP will work to feed the hungry in their communities.
Widespread hunger is a disturbing social problem. According to government statistics in 2014, about 48.1 million Americans lived in food-insecure households, including more than 15 million children.
The CDM Student Grant is also open for applications. This grant awards a student accepted into (or currently enrolled in) an ANFP-Approved Training Program. The grant recipient will receive $200 toward school expenses and a credit of $399 to cover the Certification Exam registration fees.
