Types of Membership
Professional Membership
For active CDM, CFPPs, and individuals who have successfully graduated from an ANFP-approved training program and acquired a certificate of completion. If you are not currently a member, you must apply for membership under this category.
Allied Professional Membership
For individuals who meet any of the following criteria, you must apply for membership under this category.
1. Possess a two-year, four-year or advanced degree in food service, culinary arts, health care, or a related field.
2. Completed a 90-hour, state-approved foodservice manager course; or
3. Are employed at a supervisory level in nutrition and food service
Pre-Professional Membership
For individuals who meet any of the following criteria, you must apply for membership under this category.
1. Employed in nutrition and food service in a non-supervisory role; or
2. Student enrolled in a comprehensive foodservice management program
Retired Membership
For individuals that are no longer working but want to remain an ANFP member without maintaining their credential. Individuals that select this option will pay half of the current membership fees.
Retired Certified Membership
** Retired Certified Members are required to complete 45 continuing education hours every three years.
