Regina St. Clair, CDM, CFPP, has worked in the foodservice industry for over 40 years. She has spent most of her career working in LTC’s, upscaled assisted living facilities, and hospitals.
Regina is currently serving as the Immediate Past-President of GA-ANFP (2022-2024), Chairperson for Chapter and Insight Task Force for ANFP (2022-Present), Board Liaison, Awards and Recognition Committee for ANFP (2023-Present), and is a Director at Large for ANFP (2023- Present).
- Seek to understand, don’t assume the worse. When you take the time to listen, it may be easier to understand.
- Plan to be successful. It’s up to you to set your own goals.
- Communicate. Don’t shut down when you think you are not being heard. You’ll never know who could be listening!
- Be transparent in everything you do. Be open to share failures and successes.
- Embrace change. It may seem like chaos. Difficult for some, hard for others, but necessary for all.
- Be ready for those pertinent conversations. They will come when you least expect it.
- Be flexible and steady or your work will never be done.
- Extend empathy and concern when it’s needed.
- Mind your spirit. Don’t let negativity creep in. Surround yourself with people who have positive outlooks.
- Don’t forget to add in a work-life balance.
